The of Joy of Dance is a Christian Praise Dance Ministry that is the active result of the Vision God gave the Leader/Founder  Lorraine Jackson in August 2010. The Vision was to go out and Spread the word of God through dance, while enriching the lives of those who participate in the programs as well as those we minister to.

Our mission is to utilize Jazz/Ballet, Lyrical/Modern, and African dance styles to spread the word of God and his Greatness; using these gifts given by God to help others discover how they too can express their Love for him while leaving an impact that will last a lifetime.  Dance is the tool used to display our Passion for Jesus, Joyfully (Fuchsia), while Praising the Lord for our Flourishing New Life (Green) that is filled with Peace, Victory, and Glory (White).  This is done by hosting monthly classes for both adults and children ages 5 and up.  They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance (Job 21:11), They shall be lead with JOY and Gladness, they shall enter into the King’s Palace. (Psalm 45:15) MKJV

The Joy of Dance understands the importance of community involvement and self-improvement.   Because of this the JOD is not just a dance ministry it is also an enrichment program offering classes that focus on mental, physical and spiritual health as well as volunteer work on a monthly or bi-weekly basis.
